I was born in Phoenix, Arizona. My parents and five siblings still live in Arizona, along with many nieces and nephews. I moved permanently to the Sacramento region in 1990.
I met my husband Bill in 2001, we married in October, 2003, and bought our home in Governor’s Village in March, 2004. We have three adult children that all graduated from Oak Ridge High School, and four grandchildren, two of which are attending schools in El Dorado Hills. We live now with two rescued hounds.
My education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, with a minor in Business, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology. For the last 25+ years I have worked for Oracle Corporation performing different roles such as, software/database development, translating business processes to technology solutions, data center and strategic planning. I have led teams and engaged with talented individuals from around the world.
As a volunteer, I am a law enforcement chaplain with Sierra Chaplaincy, serving the citizens of El Dorado County and law enforcement agencies, such as the Sheriff's Office, as well as the Folsom Police Department. Over the years my husband and I have been involved in our children and grandchildren’s experiences with school and recreation league activities.
Hobbies and regular activities are: time with my grandchildren, golf, walking our dogs, hiking, playing music (piano and bass guitar), jigsaw and crossword puzzles, exploring the county and local stores, natural, and holistic living.
